Cine Live Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Cine Live is a video editing app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, made by Marid Bey ("we"). This policy explains what information the app uses, where it goes, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. Questions: support@cinelive.app.

The short version

What stays on your device

Everything you import or make in Cine Live (footage, music, edits, projects, notes, mood boards, sketches and finished videos) is stored on your device. The only pictures from your videos that ever leave it are the ones described below: a frame you choose for an AI shot, and small stills of your clips when you use AI Color Grade or Highlight with Claude.

Speech recognition, used for captions and for finding clips, runs on your device where Apple supports it. Otherwise Apple processes the audio under Apple's own privacy policy.

The year of birth you enter when you first open the app stays on your device. It is used only to decide whether online features are offered.

What leaves your device, and why

A random app number. When you use AI features, the app sends a random number it created (not your name, email or Apple Account) to Cine Live's server, so your AI shots can be followed and a daily limit on requests kept.

Purchases. Apple handles all payments, and your subscription is checked with Apple on your device. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details.

Your Anthropic and Higgsfield keys. Claude and AI shots use your own Anthropic and Higgsfield accounts. The keys you enter in Settings > AI Accounts are kept in your device's Keychain (and in iCloud Keychain, if you use it, so your other devices have them). Each AI request carries the key for that service to Cine Live's server, which passes it to Anthropic or Higgsfield for that request only, and never stores or logs it. Anthropic and Higgsfield bill your accounts with them for what you use, under their own terms.

Claude (by Anthropic), using your Anthropic account, only after you connect it and allow AI features:

Higgsfield, using your Higgsfield account, only after you connect it, allow AI features and choose to make an AI shot: the description of the shot and, if you choose one, a single frame of your footage. Higgsfield makes the video and the app downloads it.

YouTube (by Google), only if you connect your YouTube account: the videos you choose to post, with their titles and descriptions. Your sign-in is kept in your device's Keychain and used only to post what you choose. You can disconnect at any time in Connectors. Cine Live's use of YouTube follows the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), and you can remove its access at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

Sharing to other apps. When you share a video to another app (such as TikTok or Instagram) through the share sheet, the video goes to that app under its own terms. Cine Live does not see or keep what happens there.

Our server

Cine Live's server runs on Cloudflare. It keeps only what it needs: your random app number, how many Claude requests you made today, and a record of AI shots you made (their descriptions, status and where Higgsfield put the finished video) so the app can follow each shot and fetch it. It passes AI requests, with your key, on to Anthropic and Higgsfield, and does not keep your keys or the stills, words or videos involved. It never receives your own videos.

Anthropic and Higgsfield handle what they receive under their own policies. We use their services for AI features only, and do not allow them to use your information for advertising.

How long we keep it

Server records stay while you use the app, and are deleted when you use Delete My Data. Records of AI shots are kept for no more than 90 days after the shot is made.

Cookies and tracking

The app uses no cookies, no advertising identifiers and no tracking of any kind. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Children

Cine Live is not directed at children under 13. When the app is first opened it asks for a year of birth, without suggesting an answer. If the person is under 13, Cine Live turns off every feature that sends information off the device (AI features and connecting to YouTube); editing and saving videos keep working. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used an online feature, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Security

Information sent between the app and our server is encrypted. Your YouTube sign-in is kept in your device's Keychain. Your Anthropic and Higgsfield keys are kept in your Keychain and are never stored on our server. You can disconnect them in Settings > AI Accounts, and delete them on Anthropic's or Higgsfield's site, at any time.

Where information is processed

Our server and the AI services we use may process information in the United States and other countries. We rely on their contractual safeguards for international transfers.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app and on our website with a new date. If a change affects what is sent off your device, the app will ask your permission again.
